Pop Bottle Penguin Table Decorations (Page Davies)

These are great for your Blue and Gold Banquet!
Materials:

1. 1 liter pop bottle - (Seagrams Ginger Ale works well)
2. yellow, black and orange fun foam or construction paper
3. flat white spray paint, primer is good.
4. rice - to weight bottle
5. old baby sock or polar fleece scraps
6. pink acrylic paint (use a cotton ball for application)
7. black marker or googlie eyes
8. low temp hot glue

Directions:

1. Spray the pop bottle white, fill 1/4 full with rice to prevent tipping.
2. Trace foot, bill and wing shapes on fun foam, cut out.
3. Glue foam to the dry pop bottle with low temp hot glue.
4. Make black dot eyes and pink cheeks with marker and paint.
5. Hat - use a baby sock or polar fleece scraps.
6. Glue hat to top of bottle.
7. Put a Bear, Wolf or Scout logo on the penguins chest or label with boy's name.
